In a remarkable advancement for Turkmenistan's water management and security, Liamol Trading GmbH has been honoured to secure a supply contract in collaboration with Damen Shipyards and the State Committee for Water Management. Following a decree issued by the President of Turkmenistan on March 24, 2023, the project involves supplying Damen dredger models CSD 350 and CSD 500.

Supported by His Excellency The President of Turkmenistan and His Excellency The national leader Arkadag, this strategic initiative aims to reinforce canal maintenance and secure vital water resources in the face of growing climate challenges. This partnership underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen Turkmenistan's agricultural and maritime sectors.

The following models will be supplied to the State Water Committee during 2023-2025:

The Damen CSD 500 is a robust cutter suction dredger designed for efficient and effective dredging operations. Its key features include:

A high production rate of 4000 cubic meters per hour, making it suitable for large-scale dredging projects.
The ability to dredge at a depth of 14 meters, allowing it to operate in a variety of water bodies.
A total installed power of 954 kW, providing the necessary energy for intense dredging activities.
A pipe diameter of 500 mm and a cutter power of 180 kW, enhancing its cutting and suction capabilities. The dredger's construction is robust and dismountable, facilitating easy transportation over land or water.
It is particularly effective for land reclamation projects, as well as the construction and maintenance of ports, harbours, and navigation channels.

The Damen CSD 500 stands out for its high dredged mixture production and its adaptability for transporting over different terrains, making it a versatile tool in dredging operations.

The Damen CSD 350 is a modular cutter suction dredger that can be disassembled for transport by road or rail. It is designed for durability, with high-quality components minimizing downtime. This dredger excels in sand mining, with replaceable wear parts and a range of customizable options. Key specifications include a production rate of 2000 cubic meters per hour, a dredging depth of 9 meters, and a total installed power of 447 kW. The pipe diameter is 350 mm, and the cutter power is 55 kW. The dredger is 26 meters long, has a draft of 0.8 meters, and weighs 55 tons.

The Damen Multi Cat 1004 is a compact and versatile workboat designed for operations in restricted waters. It features a length of 10.9 meters and a beam of 4.45 meters, with a maximum draft of 1.35 meters. The work deck area is 22 square meters. It has a bollard pull of 2 tons and can reach speeds of 7 knots. The Multi Cat 1004 is equipped with a deck crane capable of lifting 3.2 tons at 1.8 meters, a deck winch with a capacity of 5.5 tons, and a towing bit. This vessel is well-suited for a range of marine support operations, including dredging support.

The Damen Modular Multi Cat 1205 is a multipurpose workboat designed for various operations including anchor handling. It features a length of 12.8 meters and a beam of 5.3 meters. The depth at the sides of the vessel is 1.94 meters, and it has a draught of 1.3 meters when empty. With a bollard pull capacity of 4.8 tons and a crane capacity of 8 tons per meter, this vessel is suitable for a range of tasks in sheltered or inland waters. Its power is rated at 306 kW and it can reach speeds of 7.1 knots. The Modular Multi Cat 1205 is known for its versatility in jobs like dredging support, towing, and surveying.

Under the scope of the contract, our company will supply and install a local Wialon Telematics server solution for managing fleet of vessels. This system will significantly enhance operational efficiency and safety by enabling real-time tracking and monitoring of vessel activities, thereby optimizing fleet management and improving response times. Additionally, we will incorporate a training simulator to ensure that operators are thoroughly trained for safe and efficient use of dredgers and vessels, a crucial aspect for maintaining high standards in challenging marine environments. These integrations are essential for modern maritime operations, providing superior control and training capabilities.
