DAMEN in Turkmenistan

The State Committee for Water Management of Turkmenistan has signed the contract with Liamol Trading GmbH which is official partner of Damen Shipyards for supply of Damen Cutter Suction Dredgers- CSD 350 and CSD 500, Damen MultiCat Work Boats, Damen Floating Fuel Barge with related equipment, floating and shore pipeline, parts and consumables in March 2023. As of today, we have successfully supplied 10 dredgers, 1 Work Boat and 1 Fuel Barge, the total number of dredgers as per Contract No LM/DMN/TM-2023 is 23 units.

Damen Cutter Suction Dredgers are powerful modular dredgers, which can be dismounted for transport by road or rail. The robustly designed dredgers are made to last, minimizing downtime with the exclusive use of high-quality components. The powerful cutter head is excellent for sand mining and all the dredger’s wear parts are easily replaceable. With a range of options, customization is simple.

Since first vessel delivered in August 2023 Damen Shipyards has established new standard of dredging in country, new standards of quality and production providing most adequate response to the challenges of Amu Derya River and Karakum Channel, harsh desert conditions and sharply continental climate of Turkmenistan.
